Reagetswe Mining Group, an amalgamation of Reagetswe Mining Services and Reagetswe Sibanye, has been in operation for 20 years. In our 20 years we have acquired a wealth of experience, wisdom and knowledge.
We had our humble beginnings at Royal Bafokeng Platinum Mine. The journey began with less than 100 employees and one operation site. Over the years we have expanded our operations to multiple sites and grew to source our workforce across the SADC region. Our growth stems from our foundational vision, which is to be the best in the industry, to be efficient in all the spaces we operate in. In our growth we have
significantly contributed and impacted communities that we are in.
Reagetswe is currently one of the biggest subcontractors in one of the sites we operate in, and we have managed 104000 tons per month production. We have been operational on both the east and the West End of the platinum belt in South Africa.

David is the co-founder of Reagetswe Mining Group. After completing his National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering at Pretoria University of Technology in 1994, he joined Anglo-American Platinum as a Mining Learner Official in 1995. David was appointed Director of Operations at Reagetswe Mining Group in 2005 after the company’s growth to different mining houses such as: RBPlats, Impala Platinum Rustenburg, Impala Platinum Marula, and later Sibanye Stillwater Rustenburg. David was appointed as Group Managing Director in 2016 until now.
George has established himself as a prominent figure in the mining industry, boasting over four decades of experience, including more than 26 years in senior management. His expertise encompasses the western limb of the platinum belt, where he has been instrumental in facilitating company growth and expansion through numerous projects over the past eleven years. Furthermore, Mr. George actively participates as a member of the board of trustees for an organization based in the Western Cape, underscoring his dedication to both the industry and the broader community.
Robert is an executive leader with 30+ years across public and private sectors, noted for strategic vision and community impact. He holds a Master’s in Public Management and an MBA, underscoring his deep expertise in governance, corporate leadership, and sustainable business practices. Delivering growth and transformation at scale, he co-founded the Youth Council, the SA Chamber of Commerce Youth Division, and the Youth Commission in 1996-1997, advancing policy and youth inclusion.
